Training at the Upper Thames Sailing Club

 

 

UTSC is a recognized RYA training establishment, able to run most adult courses and (nearly all the levels of the RYA Youth scheme) for members. Anyone who wants to learn to sail, learn to race, try a new class of boat or improve their skills should consider the training days available at UTSC.

 

Upper Thames Sailing Club is an excellent safe place for people of all ages to learn to sail with RYA qualified instructors.  We offer a wide range of courses and have club boats available to train in. You can also try new classes of boat, learn to race or just brush up on your skills. We also informal training is offered on Wednesday mornings as part of Wednesday on Water and during Saturday Fun Sailing. Come and join in and have fun!

Please note that training is intended primarily for UTSC members but we welcome beginners from outside the club for a small additonal charge on our sailing courses; members of other local sailing clubs are sometimes also able to particlipate for a small additonal charge where space permits.  Our instructors are also able to offer individual and small group tuition at competitive rates.  New members are always welcome at UTSC.
