Clubhouse & Social

We are a volunteer-run club. Members fulfil a number of duties each year, either on the race & safety boat team or in the bar, which mean you get to meet other members as soon as you join.

The riverside clubhouse and lawns make the club a very popular social venue, whether to enjoy a drink and the sunset, or for barbecues, picnics or more formal events.

Catering is organised through external caterers for occasional Wednesday evenings when the club is open for racing, and high quality cuisine for special events and dinners. Meal bookings for events are made online, through the Members' Area. .

The Bar is run by volunteers, led by the Bar Secretary and team, and is open alongside sailing sessions on Wednesday evening, Saturday afternoons and Sunday lunchtimes, as well as for the frequent extra social events.

The clubhouse is available for members to hire for meetings and family parties including wedding receptions. If you are interested, please check the calendar for possible dates when there is no club activity scheduled. More information and prices are in the Members' Area.
