2026 Lightning Open Meeting

Welcome to our second open meeting for the Lightning Class this July. We offer camping on site from Friday 24th through to Sunday 26th. The House Committee are arranging galley fair, they'll be tea and cakes and we are looking to hold a DIY BBQ for all members and visitors. Cookham Sailing Club have their open meeting the following day and you are more than welcome to stay overnight and travel either by road or by river on Sunday.

The Bar is open from 12:00 to 20:00 (maybe longer)

The start is directly in front of the clubhouse, so the lawn is the perfect vantage point for spectators, with the Thames Path running through the grounds and alongside the river upstream to follow the races.
