Dear Member, On the 29th March 2021 it is expected that outdoor sports facilities can open for use. Under the current legislation and guidance, the use of the Clubhouse itself will be limited to the use of the toilets only with the same restrictions applying as last year. If you want to sail, please come to the club in your sailing gear or change in the car park. We will contact you again when further restrictions are lifted. The sailing programme is now available in the Members' Area of the website and can be found here. There is also a list of each team's members and if you don't know which team you are in, there is a list sequenced by surname. Over the next few days the calendar will be updated with all the events we're planning to put on. Please be aware that changes have been made to the number of duty teams, and you may have been moved to a different team, so please check the lists mentioned above. The team leaders will contact you about team duties. When attending the Club for any purpose please scan the QR-Code to comply with the NHS Test and Trace procedures where possible. These are displayed on the Sail Locker and clubhouse door. We still require you to send in your attendance email as this is the only way the Committee can monitor activity levels, and please continue to book for sailing events/racing and Club Boats through the website. You must adhere to the current Social Distancing laws at all times. Our risk assessments, policies and advice are under constant review by the General Committee. We thank-you in advance for your compliance to the law which will allow the Club to continue with sailing opportunities. Kind regards Nicola Smith-James Commodore
